Public Involvement and the CSS Process

INDOT is committed to public involvement throughout the CSS process. To encourage participation, the North Split is hosting five neighborhood meetings, in two rounds, for neighborhood-level input and direction on CSSĀ  concepts, ideas and treatments. See the schedule of meetings

Other CSS-focused public involvement activities include:

  • Public open houses to collect community-level feedback and direction on proposed CSS concepts, ideas and treatments
  • The CSS Resource Team, comprised of local agencies and organizations, with unique community insights and ownership/maintenance of future treatments and assets (art, trails, landscaping,. etc.)
  • Feedback from CAC and City of Indianapolis
