Boomerang Keeps Them Coming Back for More
Boomerang Boutique, located at 845B Massachusetts Avenue, is the dream venture of owner Felicia Kiesel. Nestled on Mass Ave between College Avenue and Davidson Street along the Indianapolis Cultural Trail, Boomerang is both a boutique and online shop that carries clothing, home décor, gifts and accessories. Among its many offerings are the booming t-shirt line @FeliciaTees, designed by Kiesel herself.
“I have always been into fashion, the latest trends and taking risks,” Kiesel said. “After dreaming about the shop for years, I finally acted on it and opened the boutique in 2013, and it has since expanded online and via social media.”
While work isn’t being performed on Mass Ave, the shop still feels the impact of construction on College, Saint Clair, Davidson and 10th street.
“I chose Mass Ave because I lived in the neighborhood years before opening, loved the culture and diversity of the area, and knew my shop would fit right in.” Kiesel said. “Though the North Split reconstruction has been a headache for those of us that live and work downtown, we are confident that once the project is complete, it will provide easier access to all the downtown shops, restaurants and activities our city has to offer.”
Boomerang is open Thursday through Sunday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Check out Boomerang at boomerangboutique.com or on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook. You can contact the shop directly at (317) 966-7373 or email@example.com.
