INDOT recognizes that public involvement extends past hosting public meetings and a project website. Often it is more convenient for stakeholders to hear about a project in a smaller setting, where they learn additional insights into the development of the Environmental Assessment. Groups and organizations directly or indirectly affected by the North Split are encouraged to invite the project team to an upcoming meeting
While these presentations, unlike public meetings, are not a forum for the public to submit official comments, they encourage an ongoing dialogue between the project team and key stakeholders. Due to time and resource constraints, the project team may not be able to fulfill every request for a presentation.

To request a presentation, please email the following information to info@northsplit.com:
- Organization
- Size of the group
- Date and time for meeting
- Meeting location
- The group’s current knowledge of the project and what they’d like to learn
- What impact the project may have on the group’s members
